Solar Cycle 24 Images
Cycle 24 started in January 2008 and completed around April/May 2020. The Solar Max for this cycle was originally predicted to be around mid-2013 (NASA) but in actuality showed a probable double peak with a max in April 2014 which surpassed the previous most active period in February 2012. This cycle was quieter than most recent cycles.
