A huge Sun spot group (3664) fired off a bunch of CME's that resulted in a very rare G5
magnetic storm that in turn resulted in the major Aurora of the 10th May. My Ha (Hydrogen Alpha) image below shows the sun spot group and one of my aurora images. Also included is my all sky camera time lapse video of the aurora.

The total solar eclipse of the 8 April 2024. Imaged from Dallas USA. The eclipse from first to last contact was from 12:23 to 15:02 CDT and totality lasted 3 mins 52 secs. Absolutley spectaular! Click on the montage image for full size.

The three images following the montage image below show (i) the Corona (ii) taken at a faster shitter speed to show the solar flares and (iii) the diamond ring at the end of totality.
