On the 9th May 2024 a huge Sun spot group (3664) fired off a bunch of CME's that resulted in a very rare G5 magnetic storm that in turn resulted in the major Aurora of the 10th May that was visible from my home in the south of England - a truely rare event.
The Ha (Hydrogen Alpha) image below shows the sun spot group 3364 followed by some of my aurora images. Finally, there is a link to my all sky camera time lapse video of the aurora.
